Guys I just called!

It was my mistake!! In the field Surname/Family name I put always Surname and First name!!
And it is only the Surname! :

So, my app was received on June 11 th, and start to process on Aug 7!

Now I can relax!!

Yes I can see both lines "in process" and "received".
Some people say that this has some meaning others say that has no meaning!
So hard to say.. but hope it is something positive!

Was getting a little impatient, so called them up and they said that they have received the application end-June and shall send a letter when they start processing.

Wait continues and so do the coffee times ! :-X

Guys, I just wanted to confirm something. Now that my application status is visible in ECAS, there are 2 lines: Received AND In Process. So, What I understand reading the postings is: When the 'Received' line disappear that means the Background check has been completed and the file has been transferred to the local office, right?

I'm sure you will get it soon. AOR's seem to come in more towards the weekend, so maybe check first thing Friday morning, and during the weekend. Also, be sure to check with both your Client ID AND PR Card Number, as I've heard some people were able to look it up with one, but no the other, at least initially.

Thanks, jcpyeg, for your suggestion. I just checked, but CAS still shows "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided." I will do another check on Friday.

man, sorry to tell u that its not the right place. u r applying for permanent residency, but here is for Permanent residents to apply for citizenship. come back in 5 years when you r eligible. gd luckl
