it depends how fast May application will be. if most of them got it as fast as senoritabella, we may have it in a month or less of the processing date.

think we will get our 1st test invite in 2 months, should be no later than mid nov.

from now on just gonna keep the expectation low, wait patiently for the next 3,4 months to see what will really happen. hope to see a lot more MARCH applicants receiving TEST so that we will be safe to say that in 3,4 months ours will arrive.

welcome. we should all relax cuz the new residency requirement wont take effect until next june. 12 month from start to finish is totally ok with me, guess to most ppl as well.

Thanks Om saif and u4g5, from what I read, Mississauga office seems to be superfast and then followed by Scarborough. Are you in GTA? I am located at Yonge and Sheppard.

In general the east is faster than the west. guess its all due to funding and the fact that Ontario and Quebec receive more than 50% of all immigrants on an annual base.

let's not forget BC do take lots of immigrants as well. I guess those three provinces are the slowest.
just on that topic, BC ON and QC do have a lot more of officers processing cases than other provinces too.

Based on the posts in this forum, Ottawa seemed pretty laid back in processing. Hopefully, with the hiring of 400 something officers, things will move faster. At this point, depends on background checks in my case.

I think it's because things are more expensive in BC, especially Vancouver. It's like an extra $1 million fund in ON can do many things, like renting a new office, hiring more people, etc, but in BC, it costs much more to rent office, so they are hiring less people. Just my opinion though. You know, BC stands for Big Cash.

It's being processed already. If it's being returned, you would have gotten it before the applicants on 1st of June got their ecas updated. Unless CP lost your returned package, which is very rare. Try to call CIC call centre, they should be able to find out for you (if a friendly agent answer your phone).
