Meanwhile, I applied the same time(mid June) and no test date in sight. Oh by the way, i'm from Calgary. And we all know Calgary doesn't have a good track record.

Any fellow Calgarians?

Don't let yourself down, equality is a thing in heaven, not on earth. Don't expect being treated equally, and you won't be sad. In return, don't treat others equal.

I am honestly bored of waiting, can't stop checking e-cas every two hours and can't wait to the next day to check the mailbox :(.

Congratulations to all of you that already received the test invites.

Received Jun 16
Started processing Aug 11
Single Applicant from Toronto North-York

@sanacast , please stay positive. I am also yet waiting for test date and have started studying

In the meanwhile if you have enough time to study, I would recommend you to sign up for a free online course funded by cic at http://citizenshipnow.ca/

I have a question, In case of family application, will all family members get test same time?

If you have sent a request to be processed as a family yes.

Otherwise they would be treated as separate applications. In most of the cases they send out test invites for the whole family on a single date.

FYI, e-cas just got updated with Test notice (already received) info:
Here is what it says, when I click the "In Process" link:

1.We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on June 23, 2014.

2.We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on June 23, 2014. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

3.We started processing your application on August 20, 2014.

4.We sent you a notice on November 14, 2014 to appear and write the citizenship test on December 2, 2014 at 7:45 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

Why people got such quick process? I guess you must be from Ontario!

Congratulation!

Why people in the West wait so long?
