June 2014 Citizenship Application.

Well guys, in reference to this original message, so yesterday I made a Case Specific Inquiry telling them about the problem I mentioned above. So I got a reply from them and the messaged included my Client Id and a nine digit Application Number that looked like this: CXXXXXXXXX
Is anyone familiar with this number that begins with a C?

And the message reads as follows:

"This is an automated message. Please DO NOT RESPOND to this message.

Dear ________________,

This confirms that your application for Canadian Citizenship has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2014/07/10."

But that's it. I don't really know what else is going on with my application. So I think the best thing is to wait for another month and then send them another inquiry.

Thanks summer2014 and email2kale. So at least the application number is not a fake one (I was just worried about that) since both of you seem familiar with it. Well, now it's just a matter of waiting.
I think my PR application process was more straightforward, and at least I knew what the PR file and application numbers for the meant.

I have just submitted application for myself . I have two kids (19 & 16) . I did submit their education records for the last 4 years , however I did not send their birth certificates . The letters issued by local schools in Calgary mentioned my husband and my name alongwith the address .

BTW , no minor application for my kids is included in my application as my elder son who is above 18 , has applied independently and the younger one will be included in my husband s application , who is going to apply soon .

Would my application be returned due to the absence of birth cert. for kids ?

I am now in the September 2014 group but also registered in June 2014 group. Today I did receive an email from CIC confirming the receive of my 19 June 2014 application. More than three months (close to four months) they did confirm the receive of my June application after I was told by a online CIC agent who recommended me on September 11, 2014 to submit another application as my June 2014 application was lost.

probably not a fake one, mine starts with a "C" and a bunch of zeros. To some degree I wonder why so many zeros (maybe new processing routine?)
We have very similar timeline, and I guess at this point we really just have to wait. Don't worry too much.

if its sth not mentioned on checklist, u have nothing to worry about. the return timeline is about 6-7 weeks so your application most likely has gone through as long as u get nothing by mid november.

I received exactly the same ECAS update today- Not sure what it is...

AJ_002 i got the letter in mail today, They have asked for 6F part of the form. I doubt i missed it i attached a separate sheet for sure.

Will resend it now was scared for RQ but its good so far

Oh man! Then it is true. Then that is the actual file number because mine also had the "C" and some zeros in it. Ok so that means a file has been created for my application. Ok, I guess I'll just calmly wait now.
