Nishant - why were you requested IMM556E ? i don't think this document was a part of original checklist for old CEC.
PCC - were you requested one for back home ? is there any reason, that you can think of, why you were requested this ?

as my rep in Canada told me , IMM556e background/declaration form, because I have been back in India for over a year now , so they want to know my recent history for the last year or so, and PCC , because it has validity of 6 months..

i was thinking of getting a new PCC as well (just in case, to avoid the wait period), since some people have been requested for one here.

but when i went for applying, the checklist said your current status (wp) should be valid for at least 6 months (which is not the case in my situation). i think i will have to wait until my BOWP arrives.

If you are applying for BOWP, you must still be in Canada, I dont think you require one if you haven't left the country

yep, i did not but i visited for a month.

anyhow, i will have to wait until BOWP arrives.

Strange, I got the RCMP request again just now, though i have already sent one in march 2015 and also replied them that it should be done in 15 days.

this is the second request of RCMP in two weeks time.

Aren't the RCMP only good for 6 months or something like that? I think people are getting requested to re-do them because they are no longer valid...

that does not make sense.

even if you look at AOR email, it says the documents should be valid for at least 6 months at the time of application. this way we will have to re-submit all documents (as everything will be expiring now).

if we just had to redo the documents, we would have applied in EE.

Yes i understand, it may be 6 months validity , thats why i went ahead and did the fingerprint again, but i am worried as they sent me RCMP request again on Jan 5th and within a week 2nd email for RCMP, though in email they mentioned that RCMP should reach to them in 60 days time.

My boyfriend had to redo his fingerprints back in December as well, he got the request a week after he got the RPRF e-mail. But has not gotten any more requests after that.
