Congratulations

Rainbow Bridge, Niagara Falls. Sunday Afternoon. Amazing weather. Not crowded. Total time taken to do landing was around 45 min to 1 hour.
We have to use $0.50 cents to enter the bridge from canadian side.
When you enter US immigration they provide you the slip that you didnt enter USA, you have to return that back in Canadian border service.
They asked my Passport, CoPR two copies, Work permit and they took work permit with them. Punched the copy of CoPR in the passport, Officer wished us for becoming PR of Canada. Told us total time to get the PR card is around 2 to 3 months. Advised us to update for SIN and Health Card withe the given copy. In case of emergency advised us to travel via USA(since my wife and I have US VISA). Everything went very smooth. Good luck

No more CIC paper work :D

Thanks for the info. You will need to do CIC paperwork during Citizenship application, if you do apply for citizenship. :D
One more question. Can you land anytime at the border? I mean is it open like 24/7?

Not sure if it makes a difference. I have six line since 2nd week of Sep. No movement since then.

Just spoke with Ottawa call center and they brought me some good news that my application is "ready for visa" since 10.Nov/last week .
He also said that application went through some reviews and so far it should be finalized, hopefully, within a month .
Another thing, person I spoke to, was very kind and professional .
Any thoughts on this situation ?
