They were given orders to focus on EE, that's it. The politicians bragged so loudly about it and don't want a laughable year-end report & statistics to embarrass themselves. Remaining CEC applicants will be lucky to see something in the rest of 2015.

Could you post the date you received mail, I am just checking what CIC is working on now - I don't see any update from CIC other than this update from previous week.

Is it necessary to meet with the MP? I just sent an email and got the response after 3 business days.

By the way, does anyone here got an response from MP or call center says "background check is still in process and suggest to follow up after Dec 14th?"

I wonder where they get this date from.

"Criminality is in Progress" with no expected end date this the response I got from local MP

I wonder if those June applicants who have been waiting for a ridiculous long time all get the same answer from CIC or MP. The background check could take forever.
I'm really frustrated now and can't focus on the stuff I'm doing.

same situation here , no able to concentrate on anything other than PR, I do not know What is happening to June 2014 applications ? CIC is picking files randomly

If they are taking soooo long to have background checks on us non-criminal.. i only wonder how many decades it will take them to do such checks on actual criminals ;D

I called CIC today for latest updates on tentative completion of June 2014 applications ............News is shocking, It is no more 14 months ..............The Agent asked me to call again in Jan 2016 ie after more than 3 months and there is no surety that they will process by then . She also told me that ECAS will not reflect your latest application status as it takes usually mass updates not on weekly basis "which we all believe is weekly update" ...............wait & pray , when your turn will come ....... :'(

yes come January I may have to re-submit medical again and maybe PCC.

I have the same issue. CIC and conservative party are really doing a good job. I am so glad some one will be kicked out in the election.
