I feel like the CIC gonna put our files to no where. Why don't they just tell us that they stopped processing the remaining CEC cases? Well, not remaining, the cases in June, particularly.

By the way, Guys, I want to clarify one thing. I know the 14 months processing time starts from the date they receive the application. But until when? until MR, PPR or landing?

Is there anyway to escalate this issue ? :-\

I can't believe it:( two people over EE,on last two weeks get PR after 2 months, and 10 days waiting, I am glad, but it is not fair to all of us:(

:'( :-X :-[ this forum is so quiet since last week as CIC .... I am moving back this monthend, I can't wait any longer. If it comes later then will ask for case file transfer. Thanks for this long wait .... For no reason

Hi Friend,
I got my passport with visa and copr ,
Best of luck

Yesterday, I met my local MP. She will call me back within 2 weeks. Lets see what she comes-up with.

I called CIC Agent again becaz there no change in the status what they told earlier. Agent advised to contact CPC-RO to check status and more details. Agent sent me an email as well.

Is it necessary to meet with the MP? I just sent an email and got the response after 3 business days.

By the way, does anyone here got an response from MP or call center says "background check is still in process and suggest to follow up after Dec 14th?"

I wonder where they get this date from.

They said the same thing to me. I think that was the date set by them to review again i guess. My frustration levels are going up beyod the control. They should be clear in communication at least. My suspecision is that they have screwed up our files.

I wonder if those June applicants who have been waiting for a ridiculous long time all get the same answer from CIC or MP. The background check could take forever.
I'm really frustrated now and can't focus on the stuff I'm doing.
