From 1 week to 3 months... as soon as an officer starts working on your next stage.

Hi All,

One query, i am june 19th applicant, waiting for PPR, medicals completed on feb, 2 weeks before we had Canadian born baby, today we got birth certificate too, Do i need to send birth certificate now or during PPR, if i send now, will it delay my file further ? pls advise.

Spoke today with call center and the Officer told me that processing time (13 months) counts from the day Ottawa received my file .
My CEC PR application was received in Sidney NS on 16th June, but Ottawa got it in early August and it is all good regarding paperwork so far .
So I guess, with this info it should be finished in August or early September .
Paid RPRF upfront in first week of June with medical done in February .
Congrats to all June applicants who got their PR, and for the others ; keep the faith !

I called CIC today and I've been told that it is 13 months from the date they've received the application - from the date you see online when checking the application status.

First line states : We received your application for permanent residence on June 16, 2014.

As I wrote before, my file was received in Sidney and then resent to Ottawa .

I received my GCMS notes ....it says recommended pass...in the bottom of the file.
However:
1. Security - Not started Lips sealed Lips sealed Lips sealed Lips sealed
2. Criminality - In progress Undecided Undecided Undecided
3. Eligibility assessment 1: pass Smiley Smiley Smiley
4. Eligibility assessment 2: Ministerial Instructions - Not started. --> Does anyone know what is this?Huh Shocked Shocked Shocked

My AOR was sent after 88 days of sending the application - and due dates in above status says September 2015.
I am 6 june applicant. MR received on 28 Jan 2015...since then nothing.
