Same here. They received my application on June 19, 2014. And started processing on July 21, 2015. But I have not been requested for medical check. How could this happen?

I called at call center and they said it is showing under review. Guys is this possible for a file to go under review after "we start processing... .. .", it was not in review as per my gcms notes received on jul 6.
is anyone there in same sttiation

Received right now as well!

I also received request to pay and I paid I did not check email until now (delay 3 hours) ( CIC will receive my receipt tmr. Hopefully they did not put my file in a corner and continue to process it ASAP :-s finger crossed

Once you see "we started processing", they actually started reviewing your application.
If you still need medical, they will ask for it.
If your eligibility is passed, then they will start the next step (e.g security check, I've been waiting for that for over a month ).
If you don't need security check, then they will finalize your application.

Hello Friends,

I was surprised after talk to CIC agent yesterday, she comment that CIC will take the decision on my file around November or December. I received my medical 01 July and letter of intent to live out side of Quebec which I responds on 6 July and my ecas is update with medical received on 11 July. Now I am not clear why she said like that.

Pls reply friend if any one have face the same

Finally got PPR at 10:20 PM EST. Sent mail to CIC for changing stamping location to New Delhi.

i called up cic yesterday and they say background check is not yet finalized, what that means do I have to enquire about any police clearance from native state is pending or not? or I was wondering , does anyone has any suggestion/ piece of advice!!! Will be much appreciated..

Congratulations!!!. I received PPR email on July 23rd 10 PM EST. I sent email for changing the stamping location to New Delhi, still awaiting reply. Please keep me posted when you receive the response. Thanks and all the best.
