My AOR was June 19, and I have been requested a Notice of Assessment in April, but nothing is updated after that. I just updated my time frame on spreadsheet. I am in if we are planning to sent letter to Minister of CIC in August.

I called today CIC they said that my application is ready they do not know why it was held. she also confirmed that she send out a note to VO. Is it the common response from CIC?
Really some thing went wrong with June applications last year.

i called up cic yesterday and they say background check is not yet finalized, what that means do I have to enquire about any police clearance from native state is pending or not? or I was wondering , does anyone has any suggestion/ piece of advice!!! Will be much appreciated..

I've done medical upfront (Oct.2014) too but still received a medical request 2 weeks ago.
2 days after Medical Request, they sent me an email asking to pay RPRF.

I guess that's good news, but I haven't received any notification to verify that they have the results of my medical exams.
Any other applicant with upfront medical received something?

Yes me to and I send the medical receipt on the same day. Now it update in ecas

Your background check/criminality will be in progress until CIC starts processing your application... you can do nothing about it

I have been a silent listener for quiet sometime. I am in second review (I applied from Montreal and Moved to India on Dec'14. We are expecting baby (7th Month). Still not received my MR.

I have added my name in Second review. Kindly suggest... This awaiting is kill me.

Better request for the GCMS notes to validate the progress on your application.

Hi all, here's my update.

I am a Jun 9, 2014 applicant, I checked yesterday on ECAS and it shows the line "We started processing your application on July 22, 2015" as 2nd. The line for Medical Results received was there since February and has been moved down (3rd line).

They have also updated my new home address (out of Canada) but not the mailing address. Just wrote to them to point out that also the mailing address should be updated.

I have never requested GCMS, so I am not sure if I am second review.
