When the waiting time starts doesn't really matter, because CIC rarely kept its promise, and confirmation from a liar means nothing. As always, they can still tell us after xx months that background check is in progress as a cliche excuse (meaning they've just put our cases aside and work on later ones like July and EE applicants).

It's interesting to see some said from the day application is received, and others said from the date of AOR, and both groups said "i just called CIC". Most likely that different call center reps gave different answers or don't have a clear answer themselves. Just proved how badly managed CIC is, no wonder things got so messed up.

As soon as 13 months gets completed, please start sending out emails to CIC (phone call will not be enough). Hopefully if daily see emails for June applicants, may take some steps.

We can follow some standard email format....any suggestions?

Good idea, I suggest all of us June applicants sending in our emails at the same time, it might raise their attention if 40 emails came in with similar enquiries.

Seems like a very good idea to send an email with same format. This may trigger CIC that they are not looking at a specific individual perhaps the whole group (batch from June 2nd to 26th). I am not very good at drafting. Since we are just a week behind to complete 13 months, can someone please initiate email draft. We can fine review and finalize.

Hope CIC won't update their website with 15 months processing time before we reach 13 month period. Fingers crossed.

What all information do they ask when you call CIC?

My GCMS notes says "Employment Letter does NOT provide information regarding applicant's duties and functions within the company". But CIC didn't ask me yet on the letter. Guide me please whether I need to send the letter contains my duties and functions voluntarily (email and mail also) or should I wait what CIC says?

In the Previous posts many people said that they are contacting their local MPs.
What happened to those ? is their any update?

Nothing worked. Unable to find any other way to highlight the issue.

Assume it's all luck and relax. pR will come when time turns up. In 2014 cec or forums, June 2014 has been most in effective and less communicative ...sorry to say.

Yes there are some of us who will contact our MPs, in July, because that's when the 13th month ends.

And yes I agree, June 2014 is the least communicative.
