Hi all,

Does anyone know what number we should call if we want to inquire about our applications? I went to the CIC website, and it said: "If it has been longer than the time shown above since you applied and your visa office has not contacted you, you may wish to contact the visa office that is processing your application." Should we now just contact the Call Center?

Has anyone tried calling? I wanted to give them a call today (I reached a year on Saturday) but then realized that the processing time had been increased to 13 months. I'm still waiting for a RPRF.

Thanks a bunch!

Guys,

Add me as a 40th Person also in the June Category!
I dont understand onething! If the processing time is 13 months or 15 months how come July applications which are submitted only after few days after Jun applicants, getting processed ?
Did CIC see this forum and bcoz of the comments, they intentionally delayed the June applicants? (Sounds silly but still valid)
Is it because of some VO who is assigned all these applications went on vacation ?
Some people submitted their applications in Jun but the application received is still July for example sent on Jun 27th and received on July 2nd, 2014. They still got their PPR.
so they are not June applicants but July applicants right ?
Also, June 2nd or June 4th applicants will complete their 13 month period of waiting on July 4th. can they ask for information then ?

Regards,
Sam

Yes I am June 2nd...waiting for July 2nd to make call.My friend applied July 26th and she gt RPRF request last friday...This is frustrating...Why they ignore us.

I just got my GCMS notes (exactly 30 days from the date of request..) and it looks like I'm in for quite a wait:
- Criminality: In progress, despite the fact they got 'no trace' from both RCMP and my home country
- Security: Not started (and that supposedly takes the longest, damn)
- Medical: Passed

Everything looks fine, not a single negative comment, quite the opposite (recommended pass, appears to meet the requirements and so on).

The sad thing there was no activity on my application since they've received medical/additional documents in the first days of March. There was literally nobody looking at my application for the last 3+ months, except to get me GCMS notes.
What I do have is Eligibility Assessment 2, type Ministerial Instructions, which is due 2015/08/11 - close to 14 months after the application :/

As per your timeline you got AOR 11 aug 2014 so due date usually wil be 12 months after AOR. In my GCMS also due date 12 months after AOR which is july 15 :(

You are correct, my AOR date is 21-July-2014 and due date is 20-July-2015. But I have not received any MR yet...still waiting :(

Looks you're right.

One more thing I've noticed is that it was exactly 6 months between AOR and MR.

Since we are all exceeding 12 months time period, I wonder if we would be requested to submit new PCC.

I need to submit US clearance certificate also. Seniors, please advise so that I can prepare from now itself.

We could be, but I think it's unlikely.

I THINK....
:) :) :) :) Due to Pan Am Games Visa processing all these Visa officers have been engaged in reviewing and clearing them first. :P :P :P :P

Even the normal same employer WP extension is now 82 days long.....so it appears that they are busy there.....

Sit tight everyone, things should come to normalcy post these games....

You should hear back from CIC around 1-2nd july. It took 400 (+- 4 days) to get my RPRF.

You never know...you might hear much earlier or later. 400 days (~13 months) is just a checkpoint timeline.

Yep, July 28 applicant also got PPR request and candidates form Aug getting medical. June folks ae in assumption that our applications are delayed due to some pan am or fifa games..! :-X
