does anyone still waiting for the medical? I have been waiting almost 2 mths since CIC ask for additional document on Feb 28. I am afraid my application will be reject. How long will it take? I am so worry.

Right here my friend, I have not recieved my medical yet either. Waiting times are from anywhere between 4 months to a year or more...(in nut shell CIC is upredictable). Its pissing me off, that Express candidates are getting PR now. Its so unfair that our cases arent being cleared first.

I see from the spreadsheet that 50% of the applicants from June 2014 havent recieved MR. IS this right? Or are people not updating thier info?

Don't go to Dr John C Kuhlmann --> He will keep on asking for additional test (As he sends poor grades to CIC), + additional $$$$$
Be very careful while selecting a doc, per survey all low cost docs actually attract people but clients end up paying more

I have done upfront e-medicals on 10 April and Got MR on 11 April , Do you think I have to send UMI# ? How can I find UMI#? Where I need to send UMI# number? .

Could you please help me ? .

I would really appreciate your help on this .

You can ask UMI# to your doctor.....He will provide you Information sheet PDF...To be on safer end you can send email to CPC Ottawa and even post hardcopy of MR email and your upfront UMI# information sheet

I did my landing today at CIC Ottawa office....All went smooth...

I just needed to carry my passport, 2 photos and confirmation documents(COPR)...

Hope the process gets started for rest of the June guys sooooooonnnn


Long wait is over....Felt great when the officer said ... "Congratulations, You are a Permanant Resident now" ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I ve got my passport request...i m in canada my spouse is in india....i ve got 30 days to submit the passports wat do i do......passports cant be sent through courier i guess..plz someone suggest something....and if i email cic i dont know how much time they gonna take to reply.....

Ask your wife to send you passport by courier at your address in Canada. Place copy of the CIC email alongwith passport in the envelop. I dont think there will be an issue. This is my suggestion.

Yes. Its really unfair. CIC is focus on EE now, hold back the old CEC. But what can we do. And my work permit gonna expire on Oct, even though I still have 6 mths behind. sigh~~~

CEC_June14, congratulations on your landing. Hopefully it will be the same for the rest of us in the coming few weeks.

Can you please share your story of how you landed? I think a lot of people here would be interested to know how the landing process takes place.

my timeline is:
app filed: june 26, 2014
aor: aug 12, 2014
medical request : feb 23, 2015
medical done : feb 28, 2015
I paid my fee in the starting.
only two lines are showing on my status
1. we received your application on june 26, 2014
2. medical results have been received.

We are hoping soon, very soon, most of us are waiting over 6 week now.
