I'm a June 9 applicant. My medical results were sent on Feb 6. ECAS has been updated to Medical received on Friday. Just wanted to let everyone know.

Please update ...your timelines... When you filed your application..
Once you reply back with requested documents to CIC and if VO is satisfied with the information received you will get MR in couple of days...

Hi guys, I just found this post 3 hours ago and I went through a bunch of questions/answers trying to find a case similar to my case, unfortunately I couldn't, so I decided to post my situation, I need your help here guys .

I submitted my CEC application on June-2nd 2014 and received my AOR on July-17 2014(So far so good).


Everything seemed to be moving pretty quickly but the thing is that I haven't received the Medical Exam Request by CIC as of yet, I was looking to other applications that were submitted way after mine and they have received their Medical Exam request.

I honestly don't know what is going on with my case, as per CIC's On-Line Services my application is still in process.

I should also mention that I've been in Canada since Oct-29th 2011 and I currently hold a Study Permit with Co-op program, so not sure if a medical exam will be required?

Please advise.

Have you ordered GCMS notes? If not you should...

yes i was on PGWP. my 7months experience under PGWP and 5 months under closed work permit...my employer took LMO and its valid till Jan 2016

What is your noc?
Isn't it hard for the applicant on PGWP to get LMIA/LMO?

my noc is 4021 college lecturer.. actually my colleague was may applicant same noc..he got medical already.we both use almost same employment letter.i dont know what happned to mine...
I got LMO ...now i think its LMIA.dont know the difference..yes LMO was little bit difficult...my wage was low when i applied for LMO..then they called employer and asked to change my wage according to workingCanada average salary which was round 30$ , i had to prove my qualification for that i send my engg graduation certificate, Indian working experience letter etc,...one advantage for PGWP was tat employer no need for job advertisement by employer
When is your PGWP expiring..
if your employer is willing to support then everything will be smooth.

I have filed my Application on June 26th, 2014 and got my Ack. on Aug 12th, 2014.
I am waiting for my MR now.

wage requirement now is
Employers applying for a labour market impact assessment (LMIA) must pay the TFW:
"
at a minimum, the posted prevailing wage for the occupation and work location where the TFW will be employed; OR
a wage that is within the same wage range that they are paying their current employees working in the same occupation and same work location, if this range is higher than the prevailing wage. "

2)yes i came as student i did only 1 year course so got 1 year permit only .

You may expect to get your MR in this week unless they move your application to second review(God forbid) .
