Unnder PRivacy act. Its pretty quick, won't take more than 5 mins. and it is free if you are in Canada

Find below some useful info.

2. Scroll down and check the box "I have read, understood and agree with the above Privacy Notice." and Submit.
3. Select CIC from the drop down. (first field)
4. Select Individual/Corportation present in Canada (Second drop down)
5. Fill in your details (Self explanatory)
6. Select Member of public for "Select the category that best describes you"
7. select "E-mail" for "How would you prefer to receive the requested records" ( choose the mode you are comfortable with)
8. Continue to next page.
9. You dont need to attach any additional documents, unless you want to prove something.
10. Select Privacy Act in next page
11. Submit the final request. Once you submitted the request, wait for one month.

Also you have to select case files in one of the drop down box.
I ordered yesterday and was pretty quick

One more question- If i put option that I want GCMS notes in Email instead of Paper form , then How fast I will get it after I apply.

If you dont pay 5$ fee then does that mean that information will be disclosed public?

Dont give up yet , why not just wait and see? CEC is your faster bet. PNP and EE has point system and may take longer.

Yup, i will keep waiting & *fingers crossed*.

Just that my BOWP will expire in late July, basically I can renew it in late March (less than 4 month left), if I still havent got MR by that time, at least I have to invest $155 to keep my status. In case things turn out to be unfavourable, my extended BOWP can keep me going on to PNP and EE.

Hi all,
I ordered my Note Jan 19, hoping all on the right track.

Best of luck for all friend for MR....

Regard

No. You can request information on yourself (personal information) under "Privacy Act" and it is free. But if you request information on someone else, than you must request it under ATIP (Access to Information Act) and it costs $5. In both cases you must be in Canada to be able to make the request (or ask someone in Canada on your behalf).
