Hi Guys,

I received my HK PCC request from CIC today, though not much significance so to speak, at least they are touching my application.

My timeline:
Application received: 3 June 2014
AOR: 15 July 2014
Document request: 12 March 2015 (HK PCC)
MR: Pending

Update:

I received my GCMS notes today.

Eligibility status: Recommend Pass
And at the end of the notes, it says "Recommendation: Appears to meet requirements"

Am I safe now?

One strange thing is GCMS notes say "Request letter needs to be sent to PA" in Jan 2015, but I haven't received the PCC request until mid-March.

Another thing is I don't know whether I should apply for BOWP, my current WP expires in late July. Can MR & RPRF be done in 4 months...?

Hello all, I am still waiting for MR but received GCMS notes today and my file is under second review for a very stupid reason - all the letters of employment were issued on the same date and thats why they feel a bit concerned even though they have approved and verified all employment history....One would think they can use common sense..

I have already requested them to bypass second review and given explanation to why issue dates are same..hope they will consider it.

Any suggestions or recommendations?

They will not consider your problem right away. You will be in another waiting queue.

I did my medical on March 3rd.

Better be safe than sorry. apply for BOWP its a matter of few more dollars. There is no guarantee that CIC can do everything in 4 months.

Hello June applicants judging by the current activities with May applicants we may start seeing ECAS updates with "We started processing your application on..." within the next 2 weeks. Exciting times ahead folks 8)

From what I'm seeing, a combination of RPRF/ ECAS update/ PPR

HI Guys,

My Status Got Updated recently that the Medical Results are received.
Does that mean that there are no issues in my Medicals and there is a progress in my application ?

In my medical results, there is one reading that is not normal and I was worried if they will ask me for additional tests.

You're right, but I still want to wait a little bit and see how it goes. If I don't see any hope getting landed by then, I will apply for BOWP right away.

Meanwhile, I want to do upfront medical. Is it okay if I do NON-eMedical? (They send Fedex in a batch to Ottawa)

I would wait till i get MR rather than upfront medicals. Many people in this form has done upfront medical and did not reported any issues so its up to you.

I did my medical upfront...u can see my timeline...but its up to you....

I just received my gcms notes today and officer stated that I don't appear to meet requirement because letter of employment does NOT provide information regarding my job title or duties and functions within the company.

Please advise, i really need help on what to do next.
