Even the weekly updates for the number of applications received are not being done since 9th of June 2014

It seems they are getting tons of applications..

Surprises!!! the nos got reduced from 475 to 456, how come is it bcoz of rejection .

Hello Folks,
I applied for PR under CEC program, and my application reached in April 2014 only to be returned in 2 weeks.
My application was returned since CIC did not accept passport as a age proof document (apparently secondary school records are accepted as age proof document).

Finally, I sent the same set of application forms with the secondary school record as a age proof document.

Though its too late to ask this question, I am curious to know if anyone else had re-sent the same application to CIC and got accepted. (CIC Officer/Clerk in charge has checked and made few notes/corrections on the application forms and also there was a date received stamp on top of generic application form).

Is your secondary school certificate has your DOB as well as the name of your parents (either father's or mother's name) on it? If yes, it is accepted.
You can resend the same application set, it's not a problem. (I confirmed with CIC call center; not sure Call center people gives the right instruction) Did they mention anything about the Form corrections on the Rejection letter?
I got the same issue and I have resubmitted the application back to CIC with required documents. my application reached on June 23 only. I am also waiting for the AOR.
May I know when did you send your application?

My file got returned on may 12th and I resent it with 10th marksheet which shows my DOB and father' s name. Additionally I sent an affidavit. And it got accepted this time. I guess it should be enough. Good luck.

Good to hear the your application was accpeted with affidavit and certificate.
I have the same case. I have resent the application and awaiting for AOR.
As per the letter I received from CIC, if our certificate has both your DOB and parents name, no need of affidavit. If not, we have to provide affidavit with all the details. Anyway, I sent both because my certificate has only my DOB and not my parent's name.

Currently it takes around 50 days to receive an AOR. If your existing work permit is due to expire within the next 4 months and you have received a positive eligibility assessment (i.e. AOR) you can apply for your BOWP.

I am planning to go back home in November and wait for the results of the application there, but having the opportunity to have a WP for another year could open interesting opportunities to keep going some temporary projects I am working on with some colleagues.
