Hello All,

I am June 16, 2014 CEC applicant and I have received an email from CIC on Dec 04, 2015 for new PCC from India and latest Schedule A form with 60 days period. I am came back to India in February 2014 and applied PR in June 2014. And then in the month of Dec 2014 I have submitted my Indian PCC to CIC, this will expire on Dec 10, 2015. So my question is does anybody faced similar situation like me? After submitting the new India PCC again how long it will take CIC to take decision on my application? please advise.

Still a hand full but those numbers are decreasing, I'm thinking by January/ February most would have been processed if not all.

Looking at the trend, PPR's are being sent starting Thursday till Sunday.

Have not seen anyone getting something between Mon-Wed.

Looks like CIC is busy in Syrian refugee intake...!..Thats what I saw in BBC today..! They want to reach target of 25000 within February..!! Now they have issued 2000 PR another 12000 in progress...!
First it was Express Entry which literally halted our applications and now its Refugee intake...Anyway we are in the box of misfortune whose knot is in the hands of God!!! :-\ :-\ :-\

One thing guys want to share what I feel.

I called CIC the agent was very nice, when I spoke with him from his words I come to know that CIC is aware now about our CEC applications and they are now with their words which came up recently in article related to us which says they will process backlogs in 6 months. Same words I heard from the agent which is good thing. And he told me CEC is really talking time and who ever is waiting for PPR its just a matter of queue when the officer last time reviewed our files. So everyone is dealing now with regards of this queue as you see they were working on before June applicants and today one guy "canadaforu" he is applicant of 17th July he got DM today.
So hopefully In Sha ALLAH (with the will of God) everyone will hear soon.

When did you call them as when i called them they said they would process but no defined timeliness. Also heard about Syrian refugee. Looks like they are not intrested in people from within canada who completed masters and try to find jobs here and now go through stressfull times now.

Whereas if i stayed back in my country wouldn't have wasted 5 years of time and would be elgible for EE and would land in 3 months....argggg frustrating and stressful

it is a sad story whats going on with cic... definilty need to be looked after i know people applied in EE and already landed while some of us still waiting.
I do understand being a PR is privilege not everyone has it, so they should let us know instated of the long slow waiting

I completely agree with you but these guys after they started processing CEC they opened EE so they delayed our files now Syria so more delays next something else......

I too called CIC agent and have been told that its still under review and don't know when it will start again.

Actual timeline for CEC was 12 months then extended 2 months and now when i call they say it was extended by 4 months so technically Dec42015. Now again 4 months.....HHAHAHA...

I need your help..

I am sep 4th applicant, I have submitted my India PCC ( issued from PSK Pune ) in March15. I Know if passport address is same as residential address then PCC gets issued same day. It took me 2 months to get India PCC as my passport address is different than my residential address. Looking at the pace of application processing, i think I am also going to need new PCC in few months.
My question is, if i apply for PCC with same residential address then how long it would take PSK to issue me new PCC, are they going to do complete 2 month process( police verification ) again or can they issue on same day?

Hey ... Did they ask you for PCC specifically.. In my case i did submit PVC from local police commissioner.. It took 2-4 days from my side.. And they did accept the same for my process..
