God!! Why are they complicating things so much?!

Did they atleast tell you what would possibly happen next or by when atleast?

No they didn't they had to send a case specific enquiry to Sydney. I guess they don't have direct email either. She said she would let me know when she heard from them which could take a week.
The CIC lady told me she had never seen it happen before which was not comforting at all.

In our July thread, there is a July applicant who submitted his application in July 31 and received his visa and COPR and landed in Canada already last October 19. He is from Sydney VO.

Guys from sydney....any movment for you guys?

I just saw in the august thread that applicants from there are getting their visas...in 2 months!!

While im happy for them...just wondering where it leaves the rest of us....

Just heard from CIC here in Canada. After attending the landing interview in Canada and not getting my visa because it had been sent back to Sydney to be printed. They have informed me that the COPR is in the mail! Should arrive next week

You're lucky. Vienna office, nobody who applied this year got their COPR yet. Myself, waiting from March.... And it's gonna take at least 6 more months.
