You can order your ATIP/GCMS notes and see what happened with your file until now. If you have someone in Canada that can ask for them in your name, it's only 5$. If not, it's somewhere around 25-40-60$.

Thanks for your reply. Really? What is included in the ATIP/GCMS notes and how do you ask for them, just call CIC? Will they mail it to the person you know in Canada? I read that if you inquire about your file before the standard processing time, it will delay your papers even more that's why I've refrained from inquiring.

I asked like you about this procedure they told me its too early because the visa office gust received my file

I think its still to early , may be after 2 months !

Have a good news!! My wife got her passport request from the visa office today..!!!!

Guys...just saw this on the July thread....while i'm happy for them...wondering if the Delhi office forgot about the June applicants! :/

No PPR yet, no update on ecas whatsoever!! Im really getting worked up now....there may be a delay in process but atleast show us some movement!! :'(

Yeah...lot of movement...just today as well...ppl getting their visas, status changing to DM on e-cas....absolutely wonderful!

Personally....nothing else to check my status apart from e-cas or wait for an email/ call from NDVO...:/....frustrated....really wanna get this moving!

Hello Thaliada, yeah it's been a long time we haven't seen you posting in this thread. I think it is much better to wait for their email, maybe it is too early to follow up our application and it would affect the processing time.

Wife emailed last week some time asking the Paris Embassy why there are no updates so this will delay it?

It's still really early, you should be patient Further down the road (2-3 months from now), if still nothing happens, ask for your GCMS notes.

They tend not to respond to mails asking "why" when the processing time didn't exceed the average one posted on CIC's website.

The only way asking questions will delay your application is by having the same visa officers that needs to analyze your file, doing research work to find out if they should answer your inquiry and what the answer should be. So it takes from the time the officer has to work on the files. It's not like they red-flag your file and go like "this file will be done slowly, because they've asked something" Or I sure hope they don't do that ))))
