This wait is sooo long and hard. It makes me more and more nervous everyday. But at least not getting medicals yet means that its still in review. My application status says "application received."

Good News......... Finally seems June applicant's processing has been initiated.

Got MR today evening (at 4:30 PM) for me and my family....... seems CIC is working hard to complete the apps..... see the time on which this email has been sent...

Not sure why they have not put any timeline when to submit this. Is this the standard template without any dead-lines?

Guys - Can you please suggest whether to go for eMedicals or ordinary one's?
Also, how long I can wait to send the medicals?

My family is currently in US, went for a family gathering.
Can I submit after after my family arrives from US by end of this month?

congrats ganesh123. I am sure you can wait for 2 more weeks for your family to arrive but I am not exactly sure how long do you before you can submit the medicals. Let some seniors reply....In the meanwhile just keep partying dude..

I wouldn't worry about e vs normal. I'd focus on going with the doc that will see you the soonest

June Applicants - Please update if your ecas is working. The ecas page now shows a message saying that CIC is working on resolution of the issue.

I came to know about the advance Medicals and I have done my medicals in advance. Doctor gave me one copy of the Medicals and asked me to send it to CIC. Seniors,who already got their Medical Requests, please let me know where did you send your Medical copy got it from your doctor.

My understanding is that the medical results are sent directly from the doctors office via mail or electronically to cic with your client ID, your application number and all the other forms requested in the email. Since you did them in advance make sure you filled the correct medical forms for permanent residence application and the DMP fallowed the specific rules required by CIC. Contact CIC and your DMP to clarify.

The forms have to be sent to CIC from the MD office. You cannot send on his/her behalf.
