I did - applied on January 11th and got them on February 8th. Looks like my file hasn't been opened yet.

eCAS is not working for me either since last 4 days. Not sure why. I wish it will come up soon as shows Medicals Requested.

@arbutus, I applied on June 11th, my application hasn't been opened either, Eligibility not started.My due date on Page 5 is Oct 15, 2013. I'm assuming that's when the file must be finalized. Arbutus what's your due date ?

so, the due date is 1 year from we receive our AOR i guess.

Yep, my due date is July 31, 2013, one year after I got my AOR. It's a little strange that this is a function of AOR date and not application date.

I wouldn't be too discouraged if your file hasn't been looked at yet... GCMS is just a snapshot at one point in time and by the time you get the result, progress may have been made on your file. It's my understanding that once they do open your file, it takes little time to make a decision on your eligibility and send you a medical request if appropriate.

So does it mean that they complete the eligibility first before sending out the medical requests?

Yes. So if you get a medical, you'll know that your work experience etc. are considered acceptable for CEC.
