No, I don't see anything online. Its been almost 4 months now and still awaiting an AOR. If any of the june applicants are able to view their status online (without receiving AOR on email), please do share.

The only other reason would be a whole lot of people who applied around the same time are not on this forum. As a result maybe people are actually getting their AOR's but we don't know about it.

Doesn't hurt to be optimistic ......

But then again shouldn't give CEC too much credit for work that they may not actually be doing. :|

The last person in the August forum to get an AOR was on Sept 20th... a 4 month response time. So if I count my 4 months... it'll be around October 4th. My last forecast was to get my AOR on Sept 17th... clearly that's come and gone. New target date is Oct 4th approx ..........

I'm so sick of counting the days... it's reached a point that its constantly on my mind... will it come today... should I check my mail in afternoon or late afternoon.... what if this.... what if that.... I mean their system is so not fair and so not working. I just hope I get a positive reply after all this waiting. :(
Don't worry my friend, the wait is painful for everybody...think that you are not the only one. Sure they are somehow not fair however focus yourself on something else and that pain will go.

PS: btw if you guys have noticed the process went slow since they announced they are investigating about people who had their citizenship by fraud

Ujbaby, I am wondering how you do to login to ECAS, do you enter your client id in this format XXXX-XXXX or XXXXXXXX? and do you enter only your familly name or last name +first name?

I remember you had additionnal files to transmit them, Since you are able to view your status I guess you can transmit them your files quoting your client ID. but it is uncertain since you don't know yet if sydney Office has already transmitted your files to CPP-O...

Ssparkles,

IF this is any consolation, a May 23 rd applicant got AOR on september 26th...user claup73 on the trackitt tracker...so looks like they are processing the May files still..alebit at slower than snail pace..
I see a few May applicants on this forum still waiting for an AOR...Its been more than 4 months for them and will be 4 months for us shortly too....I dont understand the reason for their slow pace...beats me.....its just an Acknowledgement of Receipt for gods sake...just allotting a file number to the file and informing the applicant ...is that so difficult?? !!

Hang in there ssparkles...we are all with you...hopefully we shall get the coveted AOR soon..its about time.

rosty,

investigating about people who had their citizenship by fraud should slow down the citizenship process not the process of allotting file numbers to PR applicants right? But then i think its completely illogical to look for logic behind what CIC does and does not do....so very frustrating !!

I used the 8 digit client id number on my work permit, i also entered only my last name, country of origin, and DOB. I am planning on sending additional document to them but dont know where to send it and whether to send to sydney or cpp-o since i am not sure whether my application was transfered or not. maybe i will send the same document to both places. not sure what to do.

Thanks Yosemite and rosty2... We sure are in the same boat. Its another new month and hopefully it works in our favour soon. I was checking trackkit as you mentioned yosemite, claup73 applied on the 23rd right and got the AOR on Sept 26th. Another user rsurawe applied on 28th May... and received the AOR on Sept 24th.

So this could mean our applications are very close if they've hit a May 28th applicant. On trackkit most people who applied after June 18th have received their AOR, and so have the applicants before end of May. I don't understand how they crossed first 2 weeks of june and jumped on the ones after!

It sure is about time we got this! >:(

Hi Ssparkles,

As you may know that CIC kind of changed the policy, the AOR that the May applicants received are from CPP-O However the AOR that the after June 15 applicants received are from CIO Sydney which before their file even transfer to CPP-O. Therefore, at the end of the day it will be all the same process. I think Yosemite was the one noticing the trend and verified. So let's hope for the best for all of us. :)

Yes...I did send them an email and got an automated reply that they will respond shortly...but have not recd any reply yet...I had also called up the call center but they say they dont have access to the CPP=O system and as such they wont be able to help out...they suggested that I send an email to CPP-O asking for the file number. So its back to square one and the waiting.

As per the forum, no one has recd AORs after sept 26th...this is driving me nuts really...but i guess there is nothing we can do except wonder, wait and hope.

Nothing so far for me. I have also sent an email to CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry at cic.gc.ca, and only received an auto-reply.
Could you correct the date for me, I have filed my application on 04 Jun 2012.
Friend of mine filed her application in May and recently received request for medicals.
