Hi june applicants,
I really" appreciate the concern, i woke up this morning with a mixed feeling of sad, mad and regret. This is kind of my fault, i did not check that NOC 6411 is skill level C instead NOC 6221 is skill level B, when i did my application, i was thinking of claiming my job as NOC 6221 but NOC 6411 is the one that i chose because i don't want them to reject my application because of not match job description.
my job as a small and medium business associate is approaching small and medium business about our telecommunication products and if they agree to sign a contract i am the one that set up the product and if they have problem i also the one that help them troubleshoot. i keep asking my self now why didn't i choose the NOC 6221 instead, i will probably get a medical check up now. But i have to move on.
i have 3 options:
1. Appeal the decision, but the job was from april 2010 and i am not with the employer anymore and it is kind of hard to get them to write reference letter for me. plus you said appealing takes as long as new application.
** No point in appealing, you had the wrong NOC.
2. I can re-apply with my job as Financial service representative which is NOC 6235 skill level B. i have one year experience already but i don't have a working permit anymore and i am at my home country now.
** This is fastest/best bet. As long as you have 12 months FT (or equivalent) experience within the last 3 years, you are good to apply for CEC.
3. My fiance is a canadian permanent resident, we plan to get married in january 2014, i was thinking of applying after we get married as a family sponsorship from my spouse to be.
This is another option, but I'd suggest applying via CEC in the interim.
please let me know what's you opinion, i don't want to incur a lot of fees as i had for this first applications.
thank you guys
