before now if visa office asked for passport then 99% they issued visa but now i have heard that they have changed the rules in this year now they ask for passport everyone...is it true..? one thing more is there any chances for interview for me or not..?

These days New Delhi Office is requesting for Passport within 2-3 weeks of File Transfer from CIC i.e Before the processing is ever being started at New Delhi Office.There maybe or may not be chance of Interview or ask for more documents.It all depends on individual case as all cases are different...
