I updated my new Canadian Mailing Address thru eCAS on 10th September 2012.But to my surprise I still see my old address.They said 15 days i.e 15 working days and now its more than 15 working days and any idea when will i see my new address....Thoughts are welcome.....

received a letter today by mail saying that i need to under-go additional medicals before a decision can be made, with an enclosed enveloped for the doctor. can anyone tell me why and does anyone on here have gone through the same plz. thnks.javascript:void(0);

Please check the link below for Abu Dhabi time frame..Currently it shows 24 months to process 80% of applications..You need to keep patience..Good luck

It's kind of a tricky question to ask, since the answer might not be pleasant.

If they ask for additional medicals, they might have reason to believe you have latent tuberculosis or something like that.

I would give them a call

but i dnt smoke or do any such thing. the only thing i do is drink mostly on weekends not every weekend though but i do know that I have sinus can this be the cause? hopefully? fingers cross.

I have been reading your thread and notice that we almost have the same timeline. The cic received my application in june 14, 2012 while yours is June 15, 2012. I have not received any letter of sponsorship approval but as per the ecas under SPONSOR, it says

We received your application to sponsor xxxxxxx on June 14, 2012.

We sent you a letter on August 21, 2012 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

I asked my lawyer if they receive a letter and they said they haven't receive any letter dated Aug 21, 2012. I am so anxious to know what the letter contains. Please share your opinion. Do you also have this in your SPONSOR status? Mine says DECISION MADE while for my partner that I am sponsoring says APPLICATION RECEIVED. (which contains that his application was received and that his medical results has been received too).

U r been approved as sponsor , now just wait for the letter and yr file is already transferred to yr VO office .

My time time frame is 8 days after you and eCAS status shows the same as you..So nothing to worry mate.Decision Made and Application Received on my eCAS and my spouse eCAS just Application Received...
