Me too, when i checked the status at ECAS no info found. Sponsor Approved also last August 23.

samjo09 as d other friends mentioned here we should just wait 4 d update!
whenever u will be able 2 check your status please let us know

miniejungle it means they r processing your application! i'm pretty sure u will get your approval very soooon

I certainly hope so too, nelly*, and all who have the same proble, please update here if you see something different on your ecas other than that stupid box.... I dont get how they have that box to confuse us all...

i just logged into ECAS, and lo and behold, there is an update: they received my application on the 18th June, started processing application on August 22, 2012. " We sent you a letter on August 22, 2012 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."

at least there is some movement!!!

when they said this, does it mean i get approved or not???? or i still have to wait till we get the letter???

i can't believe the letter takes that long to reach Calgary from Missisauga!

and btw, the box is still there. i just ignore it....

Congrats..This means that for yr application , decision is made..You need to wait for the snail mail or mail ?
But Approval is thr..so not to worry and also the box will remain..Just ignore it ...

smvi, i think they're sending snail mail. hubby didn't receive any emails... i dont' know if it's approval stage yet cos obviously we havent seen the word "approved" anywhere... so this one is more like a AOR? under my status it said "application received", my medical results are received too.

If it is decision made ,then it is not AOR, its been approved...Just u need to wait for the snail mail...May be its on its way..Dont worry ,

it shows "in process", not "decision made"... :-X :-X

i guess i have to just hold my heart in place and wait. or else it can drop out... too much pressure!

congrats, random_emotions, that means you're officially onto stage 2.

my status is not "decision made" yet, only "in process". the rest are the same as yours...

could anyone here enlighten and and also make my heart calm down a bit... they they used to have "in process" first and then "decision made" updated too???? please????

finaaaaaaaaaaaally i can log on n check my status! i am sure you will get your approval by snail mail since they send you a letter regarding decision on your application,it means approval not anything else btw my hubby is also living in calgary

On Ecas, as a sponsor- it says approved.. (which i received the email last aug21)

For the applicant- its says "application received"...

QUESTION: What should be the next status to be reflected on the applicant side? File transfer or decision made as well?

Sometimes it gets changed to in process.....but other times it goes from application received to decision made

SO im just expecting either "in process" or "decision made"..

How will we know that the file has been transferred? Or we wouldnt know at all after we received the approval?

Hey Juners! Just letting you all know that if your status on ecas says the following "we have sent you a letter on (date) abt the decision on your application...that means decision made, even if your status has not changed from in process to decision made (sometimes it takes a while to update to decision made)...that means approval
