Hello Everyone.

M new to the forum... got the AOR today..

I would like your valued advice on something... while filing the application i wasnt aware of paying the Landing fee of $490..however i want to pay now though the application have nt been approved so far.. i have the UCI no now.. please suggest how can I pay the fee and where do i need to send it.

I wish everyone good luck and i hope that i receive approval asap. have a good weekend guys.

Hi SBC,

I had the same problem. Have a look at what one of the friends wrote about it: "On the web- they state that if you don't provide the supporting document, or the fee payed is not correct, they will send the application back to you!
so better wait, than make extra payment, since you don't know the UCI code. Did you try to call the CIC center and to explain your situation??
better call them and see what they suggest! ("

I think since you have the UCI, you can go ahead and sent it. I'm waiting for the UCI to be able to send mine.

Can u let me know yr VISA Office, Date of application,Date of Application received by CIC , yr Medical Done Dates ..
so tht i can add u in spreadsheet...please give us update on yr application...

For ours, you can put AOR received on July 20 (and application was sent on May 31).

Mailed May 31. Received by CIC on June 4.

"This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2012/06/04." - from our email.

No, not in my experience. I have lived outside Canada since I was a minor and lived in several places in the US as well as out of the US and I got my approval in 85 days slightly less than the average.

I re-mailed my package to CIC canada 3rd June got an email 5 July that they had got my package. Gave me a UIC and file number.

Does the count begin now or when I mailed it?
