It seems so KJG....this week has been the worse week so far, no movements at all. Im just hoping next week will be a better week...or even 2moro..c'mon cic >:(

yeah this is what they pulled in February when I filed.....really hope it is not a repeat of that... >:(

Wishing you guys a really speedy process and everything does start to move faster. Something to consider though guys. July and August are generally vacation times when peoples children are off school and weather is hotter (Not in the UK but rest of the world) so it maybe slower as people have their annual leave generally these 2 months of the year. Just my 2 cents worth :D

Hi Everyone,

I remailed my package at the start of June after getting it back with a letter saying I didn't include all the documents (when I had infact sent them) I repacked everything and relabled it and then was sent off to Quebec city (with work) for a few months (I live in Victoria BC).

Got an email 9 July saying they had recived my application and gave me a UIC and file number.

Now the wait REALLY begins.....

Please advise me. My sponsor sent our application on June 26. We included the receipt for $75 + $ 475. After reading your posts, I realized that we should have paid the PR fee as well. My question is, do I have to pay the PR fee with the initial pplication or one can still pay it at a later stage?
My second question is when we sent the application, I didn't have the FBI background check but I have it with me now. What's the best way to add it in our application?

Thanks.

AFAIK you don't necessarily need to pay the PR fee right away. However, most people do it in order to avoid any delays in the later stages of your application process. Thus, I'd probably pay now and send them the receipt, together with your FBI document.

I submitted a police certificate that had just expired with my application. The new one arrived a few days later and I just sent it to the same address, together with a letter that contained my UCI and an explanation.

a very slow week for us June Applicants....sigh

Thanks for the reply. The problem that I have is that I don't have the UCI/Client number. I'd like to sent my FBI background check. is it good idea to dent a mail with no client number? Don't you see there is risk of document loss? If yes, I'll send it as soon as possible to avoid possible delay.

Thanks.

No it is not a good idea. You need to wait until you have your UCI/File Number. I think you send that to the VO anyway so you have time.

On the web- they state that if you don't provide the supporting document, or the fee payed is not correct, they will send the application back to you!
so better wait, than make extra payment, since you don't know the UCI code. Did you try to call the CIC center and to explain your situation??
better call them and see what they suggest! :((
