Hello June

I am been sponsored by my wife. We are currently living in Dubai and sent the application on June.6th/2011.

We have sent the application via DHL and were able to track it; was delivered in 2 days

The Q's I have for anyone that may know the answer/s, when can I get a confirmation from CPC Canada that they have received/started processing our application? Today it has been 42 days since we have sent the application and there is no feedback or confirmation received from CPC so far. Even trying to track with the IMM54 not helping at all

I have read that it takes up to 40 days to start working on the applications sent from outside Canada, and at the same time I have seen on CPC website that they are working on the applications received on May.25th... I am really worried that my application didn't go through CPC Mississauga and confused with the 40 days as I we have passed that period with no updates.

2 weeks ago sent a fax to CPC (905-803-7392) with no answer as well till this moment.

I hope that anyone can share with me what do you think?

@ MDSB can you please add us to your spreadsheet as well (6th.June/2011)

According to your timeliness your application is still with the normal range but seems ur worried about it too much. Today is 5th July and yours was received 8th June (2 days after sending) so one month has not passed since they recive it.

When they say 25 May they mean that they has not started June ones but hopefully this week they will start

Is your wife Canadian or PR??

Actually, it cool me down as there is no other possible way to know what is happening with us. Then I will be wiaing for more time hopefully I can hear something good soon.

My wife is Canadian... does it matter towards the approvals/timing and so on??
