Hello rKo,
From your timelines it appears that your RBVO date is 22 Sept, in that case your 6 months will be up on 22 March 2012. The six months are not to be calculaed from your first application to CIO, but from the date your Visa Office receives the applcation.

Hi rKo,
The below pasted info would authenticate my understanding. The source is :
http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/united_kingdom-royaume_uni/visas/processing-traitement.aspx?view=d

Average Processing Times
Processing times begin on the day our office receives a complete application and end on the day the final decision (i.e. approval/refusal) leaves our office.

Permanent Residence:
•Skilled Worker applications received before February 27, 2008: 42 - 48 months
•Skilled Worker applications received after February 27, 2008: Because these applications are affected by new regulations, an average processing time is currently not available. Do not contact us for case status enquiries within 9-12 months of submitting your application
•Entrepreneurs and Self-employed persons: 42-48 months
•Investors: 12-18 months
•Family Class: 6 months
•Provincial Nominee, Quebec, Skilled Workers with Arranged Employment: 6 months
•Refugees: Up to 18 months
For all permanent resident applications (except Family Class, Provincial Nominees, Arranged Employment and Quebec applications), a letter of Acknowledgement of Receipt is sent to the applicant within 24 weeks from the date this office receives the completed application. The Acknowledgement provides details of processing times. Please read it carefully.

Hope this helps.

Thank you guys, yeah now I should believe xnista when he said I don't think any progress will happen untill May 2012, now I know it will take longer than I expected , I think we should forget about the process and ecas let it happen itself...

Thanks rKo,

God will help us all. We are all for good intention and purpose. Goodness is with Goodness.
No news is good news, while I encourage everybody to have CAIPS or GCMS (I do not know which one applies to us.) I applied one as well and by end of Jan should reach me.

I do not trust CIC and its officers. They are unpredictable and too picky. Recently I found them more harsh in reviewing the files from middle east.

Let us pray to God and inform what is the update in our CAIPS.

yeah vos can't be trusted they act strange!no body nos what they are doing, btw I dreamed a dream about you today! You rcvd ur medical , that's mean something is coming , inshalah kher

:D
Thanks brother. I wish I could dream something for you and more over I really wish you get what you want. Allah may increase what you deserve more and more.

By the way, you never met me ... how was I looking in your dreams? Was it a nightmare look? ;D :) :P

Does anybody know how long it will take to receive your CAIPS notes or GCMS? I got them two-three years back once but I do not remember how long it took.

And last not least, CIC officers and the way they do things are weird ..... at least weird because we do not know how they do things and we just speculate. The problem is that the procedures can not be known fully and 100%!!! Otherwise there are people who manipulate the process.

Hahaha ur right, but I didn't saw u in my dream, I was checking this site and u posted finally I rcvd my medical !! That what I saw nshalah become true soon ... Btw abt the caips I orderd online and my status shows 40 % process is done, hopefully get it max 9th feb, cus I applied on 5th january 2012.. It can take 4 to 6 weeks..
