As if you were reading my mind. A LOT of people ask this question and yet we dont have a clear answer.

What does address appearance and disappearance mean? and why are people so bothered / worried about it?????

some how it is important, i experienced, once my address disappeared when my file was in CIO & waiting to transfer to V O & after that my status changed to RBVO , after RBVO status my address appeared again & from the last 20 days i has been disappeared again, hope they r working on my application.
Apparently when address appears or disappears it means one's file has been picked up for further process.

I have a huge query to ask. Please guide me with the best of your information.

My case is at RBVO stage. Me and my wife has applied for PR jointly. I will be blessed with the child anytime within next 20 days.

Is it mandatory to update CIC and what effect would it have on my case. like FUNDS REQUIRED, IMMIGRATION FEES AND DELAY IN PROCESSING TIME.

Vikas, CONGRATULATIONS in advance. Welcome to Fatherhood.
Yes, it is mandatory to inform CIC any change of status. However, I cannot answer for how it will affect required funds, immigration fees and etc. But you do definitely need to inform them of the arrival of the baby to include him / her on the list with you and your wife.

Hi! I received an email from my VO. They are requesting for additional documents to prove common-law relationship. What else could I give them? Thanks.
 
Oh forgot to mention, it is a request for an interview on Monday.

WOW your VO make really fast process.

Did they tell you which common law did they want you to submit additional documents?

I understand common law relationship is just for your wife and son if you have.
For your spouse relationship you should submit marriage certificate and birth cert of your spouse. All notarize and translate. Did do do that when you send your docs? As well as with your children,you also have to submit his or her birth cert (notarize and translate).

Do you have any special common law relationship that you claim on your docs but do not have sufficient proven doc for it?

Shahzad it is simple just go to Profile on top then go to Modify Profile , u can modify it as per ur desire.

I have declared on my application that I have a same-sex relationship. I have submitted bank certificates with our names on it, Shared financial accounts (Credit Card), Utility bills with her name, and a separate one for me too... I also submitted Certification of Singleness. Do I need to submit these again or show this on my interview? Hope all is well. Good luck!

Hi, i am also on a common law union and my VO is Manila too. We included the following in our application:
1. Statutory Declaration of common law union (notarized) http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5409E.PDF
2. Life Insurance Policies (indicating that my common partner is my beneficiary)
3. Lease Contract
4. Residence Certificate from the Barangay
5. Joint Bank Accounts
6. Western Union Remittances
7. Letters, emails
8. Utility Bills
9. Pictures of us together (as well as with families)
10. Other proof of mailing address

Goodluck on your interview... i wish you well... I am still in RBVO status... praying that everything will go smoothly.
