No biometrics are done but I can’t track anything based on uci or any other info as I’m through a representative. Is there a link to google sheet for tracking the current timelines of all visit visa July 2024 applicants? I will update my details too

ask you agent to give your representative ID

I tried calling ircc regarding this and they asked me to fill in a form and mail them so that I get access . If one has access others access will be revoked it seems . So my rep will have no access. I am not looking to get access but to expedite the process . Will a letter from

even local MP can only find out the status which is already available online to you
so no luck
I don't think there is any spread sheet either
is your representative not approachable?
if you can contact them ask them to create a tracker account for you so you can get access to status updates timely
if you think your representative is of no use then might as well cancel them and take control as the application is already submitted and there is nothing much an agent can or would do at this stage
what is your country of Origin, check their processing timeline

Yes, your visa on old passport is still valid unit it expires, but make sure you are carrying both the passports when you travel.

A friend of mine applied for a visitor visa to Canada since Feb 22nd he didn't receive any email so he decided to send an email to Canada visa office and they sent a decision made email on Monday 21st but they haven't sent any other email till date could this be a sign of refusal or any ideas

The visitor visa application for my parents was sent in July and they did their Biometrics on July 22nd?

How long can it take?

More importantly, will the recent changes to visit visa affect our applications already in queue??

No prior visas to any other countries.

We are expecting our first child and expecting our parents to be here as soon as possible.

There were no Updates after that, I contacted my local MP twice, and they informed us that some additional checks were going on. I raised webforms twice, but I haven't received any update from them. Is there any way to expedite the process in this scenario?

After multiple follow-ups with my local MP, they updated me today that the file was assigned to an officer for additional review on October 30th. Is anyone aware of how much time this would take from now on to get a decision?

Hi I am applying for my parents visitor Visa. I am in Canada, and a canadian citizen. Parents are in Delhi, India. Their current visitor visa expires in Oct 2024. they have previous travel history to canada
1.Using the new portal (https://portal-portail.apps.cic.gc.ca/signin?lang=en), do i need to still upload IMM 5484 (doc checklist), IMM 5257 (TRV Visa application), and IMM 5707 (family info form)
2. What to answer in the ques "Do you have valid identity document" ?
3. Is 7000 CAD a good amount for duration of stay for 6 months, per person?
