I haven’t done medicals in the past 5 years. I have not received AIP/Sponsor approval either. Guess I’ll have to call IRCC

I received sponsor approval but did nt receive AIP i called and the agent told everything is complete.only security remaining, i called about 3 weeks ago.im july 19th,my dependent back home received medical request in march,i didn’t ve to do medicals .

Don't call ircc you are within processing time still. Get gcms note to find out if you are in comprehensive background check. Where you in any police or military force? What country is the PA from?

No i wasn’t in any military force. PA is from India and I’m from India too

Get gcms note that will compel the officer to look at your file and that gives you insight to what is going on. If you call ircc I am pretty sure you will be told you are within processing time .

I have noticed the updated usually rolls in after the 10th of the month, so fingers crossed.

I do not expect an update anytime soon for myself. I just called IRCC and everything is complete except BGC. Only info sharing is complete on background check. Criminality and Security not Started!. This was the same status on BGC since november. End of july applicant here.

That is incorrect technically, the call centre agents can only see the progress in your file. Both your Criminality and Security could have completed but an officer is not working on your file hence they are not updated. I have heard countless times about how the call center agent says something and people receive p1 the same or next week...

Hopefully gives some hope to the rest of you! It's coming! We've been stressed for months constantly checking for updates as well, and it finally came. Now just waiting for portals and ecopr.
