I got an email from ministerial correspondence saying

" Departmental records confirm that this application is in progress at the Canadian visa office in Abu Dhabi and is in queue for review with immigration officials. While I’m not able to give an exact timeframe for the completion of this application, please be assured that you will be contacted regarding the next step in processing as soon as circumstances permit."


I am not sure if anybody have received this email when you email to ircc. How long do think it will take to get a ppr after similar message?

As anybody received PPR for TRV lately ?

Hello my timeline for Visit Visa:
July 21, submission and ircc received my application.
July 22, biometrics instruction and done thru vfs manila.
No update since then
88 days today

Same here, with my mother's visa application, biometrics completed July 25, until now no update.

We are on the same boat. My moms biometrics completed July 27, nothing. She came to Canada 2 years ago.

Hello Good people. My UCI for the first application is not the same as the uci for the second application. They have requested if i had done biometrics then i should upload the receipt given after the biometrics. Is this normal?. Will this impact my application negatively?. Any response will be appreciated.

I applied from India on 19 June 2022, gave my biometrics on 4 July 2022. It was updated on the profile on the same day. Eligibility review started in July. What is the next step I should expect and does a BVL apply for me?

Biometric Validity Letter is to certify that your biometrics have been successfully submitted to IRCC and its validity for 10 years. You have to keep it safely and quote it when you are applying for renewal or another category of Temporary Resident Visa.

Everyone who has provided biometric will be issued a BVL. BVL is usually issued when IRCC is ready to communicate its decision to the applicant.

My friends uci number also changed this time after his visa expired and he applied for new. He sent webform and got reaponse that we are upgrading system so its nothing to worry for new uci
