I applied for visitor visa for my parents who are in India, on July 22, 2022. They provided the Biometrics at the VFS office in Chennai on July 26, 2022. It has been 10 days passed since they gave biometrics but still the biometric details are not showing up in the application in the IRCC portal. Is this something usual ? what to do in such a case ?

I need to put my mothers visit visa application from India. Reason - to help my sister during pregnancy and my sister is on PR there. My mom is house wife and father is retired. I am working in india and own house on my name. Can I sponsor my mother as she does not have savings on her name? Do I transfer money to her account or I need to show my bank statements and ITR?

Also, some people say preganancy is not good reason to get visa, its better to mention visiting to see my daughter. Is it correct? Could you please help?

It generally happens in a day or two. You can contact VFS center to see if they have passed on the details to IRCC.

Did you show the applicant will cover expenses or did say you will cover the expenses for the parent ?

I have an application for visitor visa, for my In-laws from India. I have small confusion here !

They get completed their Biomatrices today on 9th August and after that, the completion message of Biomatrices is only show for my mother-in-law, not for my father-in-law (on new portal online).
Is it expected that only one applicant will have that update based on primary applicant or it should reflect same for both ?

Please reply if you are aware or have same situation.

It should reflect for both. Sometimes there is a delay. if it does not appear for the other applicant in 1-2 days more contact VFS center

I applied using the GC key can also apply through the IRCC portal? Has anyone done this before , that is to apply on both platforms.

BVL and refusal letter: June 19, 2022

Refusal reasons: 1) Family ties back home 2) Length of stay 3) Purpose of visit inconsistent to the length of stay

New portal Reapplied: July 02, 2022
Biometric linked to the new application: July 02, 2022
Review started: July 20, 2022
BVL and PPR: July 23, 2022 just now.

Can someone help me to understand how to submit the passport? I live in India and my nearest VFS is New Delhi. I want to send it via their courier service but their website is not showing the option.

No email no notifications

Got email today from cic
PPR: 5th Aug

Send passport today to ottawa via CP Xpress
