Hi there: Congrats on your early process, i have the similar timeline still waiting for update, Biometrics & Medical done, no update on eligibility & background verification.
could you please confirm where is your partner located.
My wife is in Kingston Jamaica and the visa office is KVO.
My online tracker and GCkey has not updated in weeks. It still says eligibility & background verification not started on both. I am obviously past that stage! So the trackers is defiantly not Realtime.
Thanks for sharing, I have not received any update from the Immigration Team after medical & Bio metrics submission, hope to receive any update soon.

Very true, it is often out of date for many applications. That is why it is important to use the information in the portal, GCKey, emails received, and the ghost activity frequency as an indicator of progress and stage.

Application took exactly 6 months from the day it was submitted online until passport was received back with the COPR.

That's great. After my medical is passed they requested an additional document. N it has been showing additional document you submitted is being reviewed.
AOR, Sponsor Approval, Biometrics and medical done and passed November. Immigration Canada says background check not started. yet Wife from United States. First marriage, no kids. How long usually before back ground check starts? Trackers seem useless now
Don't rely on the new tracker. Ours has not update since Dec 6 and still says background and eligibility not started. My wife's application is finished. See my signature for the timeline.
