Hello Everyone!

We applied as a family of 3 and I was able to register for online trackers. Received AOR on July 11th and everything was in progress other than the test and oath etc.

Interesting thing is, we all got emails from CIC that there was an update on our tracker on July 19.
I logged in and there was no change! Do we get ghost updates on citizenship applications too?

Guys, 3 days ago I was finally able to register and it was showing in progress. Now it shows updated 21th july and in progress. But nothing changed. What does it mean?

Had the same thing happen to me

I believe this is a ghost update which means someone made changes to our file , from what I’ve read this could mean :
- background checks complete
- test invite incoming
- finger print / additional doc request incoming

hopefully it’s option 1 or 2 but considering we just submitted this month it would be lightning quick

Why complicate things with IRCC ??. If all of you are eligible then send one package, I'd Recommend applying together . Apparently paper applications appears to be processed quicker.
