Here are my details:



Application submission Date : July 2nd-
Application type (paper based/ Online) :- paper
City:- Toronto
Days in Canada:- 1096
AOR:- July 11

We applied as a family of 3 and I was able to register for online trackers. Received AOR on July 11th and everything was in progress other than the test and oath etc.

Interesting thing is, we all got emails from CIC that there was an update on our tracker on July 19.
I logged in and there was no change! Do we get ghost updates on citizenship applications too?

Took my test today and passed (not official)

here is what my timeline looks like so far:

BG complete: August 25th
Test Invite: September 1st
Test taken: September 12th
Test window: 6th sept- 26 sept

--- no updates for a long time , but i see some has got updates for July first week here

Hi

I did not receive AOR but I got thr email to check my status online
I spoke to IRCC and got my application number and created the account to check status where it shows in progress and only test and oath not started
Was wondering if this is all okay or should I call IRCC again and ask them to send me the AOR?

Did you include your correct email address in the application? Did you check your spam/junk folder for the AOR?

If not I would call them again make sure they have the correct email on file...the AOR in itself is not important now especially as you have now confirmed that they accepted the application and have an application number...but for the future when they need to communicate with you through email (citizenship test for example) u need to make sure they have Ur email...

Hmm that's strange....tbh again the AOR email itself is not an issue so don't worry about it.... just keep an eye on your inbox and tracker

No ecas shows in progress, my online service login shows update on September 19th but everything else still shows in progress
