Looks like I received my PR approval as I received an email "IRCC Permanent Residence Confirmation Portal" for virtual landings. They asked a couple of confirming questions in a response email and I'm not awaiting the actual access to the Portal to complete the process. Hopefully that will come before my holiday travel out of Canada.

Hi.

After CSQ confirmation, we have not received any SA, AOR2 nor Medical Request as at now although we got a DM for Sponsorship since Sept 8.

We called IRCC, got an agent to find out what’s happening and what the decision was. The agent was kind enough to check our file and said, the DM was positive, everything is in order and file has been transferred to our VO since October but we should not expect any communication regarding SA.

Is that the case for Quebec applicants? Is this normal? Someone advise please.

How did you apply for CSQ without the sponsorship approval letter??? Isnt it a requirement to apply for csq? Please clarify thank you.

I've received my eCoPR via the Virtual Landing process on Jan 5th but still haven't received my PR Card in the mail. Does anyone know how long that takes?

Looking at the Virtual Landing PR Portal, it shows my photo as in review with IRCC but given I have my eCoPR already, I'm guessing that just updates when they send the card but not sure. I certainly haven't been asked for a new photo or anything else.

Hopefully someone else has already been through the Virtual Landing process and can share their experience. FYI - I'm in BC and believe the office my app went to was in Calgary.

I emailed the IRCC to ask about my photo and when to anticipate my PR Card. I was told that they are very delayed as they have reduced staffing due to Covid. I would get an email once my photo was approved and PR Card sent. I've been anticipating a late Feb card arrival at the earliest as a result. However, my PR Card was in the mail today which is great. I never did get an email about the final approval or that they had sent the card. Funnily, the PR Portal still says in review and the QCKey doesn't say it was sent. Not sure what to make of that but I'm going on the presumption all is good and my card in hand is the final step in the process. Good luck to all that are still pending.
