Then how come other members here in forums, when they call, they get some info regarding their application?

I just received request to submit biometrics for my wife. However, she has already biometrics data added and in the application valid until 2031 while we applied for visitor's visa which is in progress as well. Do i have to redo the biometrics? I have already shared this query via webform. Any similar experiences?

For PR primary applicant has to do biometrics again. Even if it was submitted for Vistors Visa.

SA and CSQ Request: September 8, 2021
CSQ Submitted: September 17, 2021
CSQ approval: October 13, 2021
AOR2 : October 21, 2021 from Singapore VO
Pre-arrival letter: December 3, 2021
Medical Request: December 3, 2021
Medical exam: December 17 , 2021
Medical passed: December 23 2021

No, due to covid your wife doesn't need to submit them again.

Permanent residence applicants:
Due to COVID 19, as a temporary measure, if you gave your biometrics for another application within the last 10 years, you don’t need to give your biometrics again.

A bit confused now, it says on the website that due to Covid there are relaxations if you already submitted biometrics and are valid. Any idea which is correct?

I think its safe to get it done, i had already paid the fees earlier so i think its matter of doing it again. I raised a query on webform but got the standard automated response. Not sure how they would correct it themselves.

You do not need to give ur biometrics again. You already did that before and it’s VALID. Do not waste ur money and time. Biometrics are valid for 10yrs thanks !
