Why is IRCC so slow right now?? Its been over 3 months since I've passed my medicals and I still have no reply from IRCC regarding passport request or pre-arrival letter... Anyone else in the same situation?

Many people are in the same situation. It's not uncommon. You have to compare with people in the same visa office as you ( and similar situation if possible)

A lot of us are in the same situation. Our medical was done more than 4.5 months ago and still waiting. Only God knows when this ordeal will end

Hi everyone,
My spousal application was submitted on July 5th
Medical cleared on Nov 4th
Pre arrival services email received on Jan 7th. No update since
The application status says "Biometrics not receive, check details for request". However, we never got an email/ mail requesting Biometrics
How do we proceed?

Please advise if anyone has faced a similar situation.

For what it’s worth, when i applied to move to canada with my wife, we sent in our application around november/December and didnt hear anything until around may/June. And that was in 2016 with no pandemic

Hi ,

We submitted the passports to New Delhi Visa Office (NDVO) for stamping after receiving the PPR. The passport reached NDVO on 7th March. However, we still have not received the passports back. Is such a delay normal? or is there a way I can check with IRCC about the status?

Hi! How long did it take for you to get passport request after your medicals? Im just wondering since our visa office is the same, my file was also transferred to the New Delhi VO.
