Hi,

I got test invite on March 4th.
My test window is from March 9 to March 29.
Today it is March 8 and yet not received the email with instructions.
I am outside Canada.
How do I notify CIC?
Do I need to wait after notifying CIC for a reply to take test from outside Canada?

I read in other threads that you can take the test outside Canada. However, you have to be in Canada for your oath and certificate.

This morning the test status was updated to in progress (date is March 8) with a test window of March 14 to April 4

How does one know there has been a ghost update? Do you get an email about status change or it is shown on your online status account??

I've asked myself that same question before. You'll see it from your online status tracker, on the upper right where it says "Updated". I didn't get an email.

I got my AOR on Oct 15, 2021, a day after yours. Hopefully I'll see something soon.

Yup, figured that out , ATIP notes says my secondary office is Vancouver

Received ATIP notes, requested on Feb 2
Doesn't really help much as most of it is either blank or "Not Started" lol

This is interesting. Your physical location is in Manitoba (based on info in your signature). Why would the Vancouver office be processing your application?

if i'd knew how IRCC works , would've definitely answered your query , lol

I just got an update in the tracker to take the test between March 14th and April 3rd. No email yet
