It IS distressing have to wait so long without any updates. Long gone are the days when the processing of citizenship applications was concluded in 8 to 9 months on average.

i just realized it depends on your local office... most people in Ontario got their application done quicker ..

Hello All,

My daughter (minor) and I applied for Citizenship in July 2021. My background check was completed and the test was done in Dec 2021.

However, for my daughter it still shows 'Application Received' and there's no update on her account. Is this normal? Or my application has to wait until her status for all steps is completed?

I hope they send an email for a test invite at least. I was not even planning to track my application. I would probably miss the test without an email.

True that! I accidentally opened the application today and saw this chain of updates. Although, it says updated 7th March (i.e. today) so I assume I will get the test email in a day or two.
