I got my file transferred to ottawa on 21 jan but on ecas its still showing in process

It must not have been received in Ottawa yet. Unless you didnt check ecas a few days and missed it. But you would have got aor2 in most cases.

Also in ecas if you click on that in processing it would say WE STARTED PROCESSING the PA applicant on xxx date. My guess is Ottawa hasnt received it.

Hi, sorry but I’m not sure whether you writing about my case or syan24/sweths’s cases!!!
As i mentioned, i received Sponsor eligibility passed, medical request and biometrics request all three on same day which is 4th feb. and in sponsor eligibility passed email, it was mentioned that file will now be forwarded to NewDelhiVisaOffice for further processing(PA(principal applicant) is living in India only.
Sorry again, i am not good at short forms as I had applied file through consultant

After how many days your status changed to received??

From SA to RECEIVED in HKVO it was roughly 12 days. Four days later it went into processing

Warning that not all offices seem to follow precise same order - particularly ottawa. Timing between offices also varies at all stages.

So, your mileage may vary.

is this in the sponsor column? And this basically means the files transferred?

Sponsor column would have DM. PA column click it. Than it should say APP RECEIVED and DATE for new VO.

Can anyone please tell me does the MR come before or after file is transferred. I got BIL 01/02 & SA 02/02. Would appreciate any help. Thank you.
