Hello everyone!
Got biometric request for my wife yesterday. In January 9, we were blessed with a baby. Does newborn baby need biometric as well? Have been trying to contact with IRCC to update about baby but couldn’t. Sent them email through web form, no reply. Called IRCC several times, agents are not taking call due to high volume of call during covid. Any suggestion? How can we update baby’s information? Thanks a lo

Children under 14 don't need biometrics. You will need to update them with webform and the applicants info, adding the child as dependent.

Application received: 29th July, 2020
AOR and BIL: 26th January, 2021
Today when I checked ECAS, it was decision made under Sponser Application Status tab.

AOR1. January 5. Then absolutely nothing since then. Everyday I check both ECAS and online account but leave disappointed. Congratulations to everyone who has movement on their applications and best wishes for those who are still waiting for AOR1.

do you guys think doing outland sponsorship takes within 12 months? or it is more than 12 months about 16 months?

for AOR only it took them 6 months?

All depends. Many variables in play. Country of pa, how long checks take, how quick applicant responds. In my opinion my app so far is doing well. Roughly 5.5 month for aor. But things moving. I feel they will have mine done within the year.

I have heard it can be a month or so, but generally I think still numerous months.
