Vancouver. It seems the officer who sent me the initial PR confirmation email is not the one who issued my COPR. This could be a reason why it takes so long, getting passed around..? Best of luck to you all, I hope it comes so soon.Congratulationssss
Just a small question
Where did your first email come from???
VLU?
Awesome, I’m from Vancouver tooVancouver. It seems the officer who sent me the initial PR confirmation email is not the one who issued my COPR. This could be a reason why it takes so long, getting passed around..? Best of luck to you all, I hope it comes so soon.
Nope, only Vancouver IRCC!Awesome, I’m from Vancouver too
But the VLU is Ottawa
Does it say operation support centre in the end of the first email?
Do you mind me asking how you went about contacting your MP? I have my local MP but unsure how to approach contacting them, did you send an email simply stating that you were waiting for COPR?Nope, only Vancouver IRCC!
Something I will note for those waiting for COPR:
I did reach out to my MP and they responded just after I got COPR. They contacted IRCC yesterday, but IRCC stated there was no new "information" and the agent sent a message to the responsible office about the "hold up". Maybe this is what prompted my COPR. So I would recommend dropping your MP a message.
It appears that you need to provide what is requested in the PDF and then, I believe, you will receive information for the login to the confirmation portal. This is the email
"Welcome to the Permanent Resident Confirmation portal process. The attached PDF contains information and instructions regarding the confirmation portal process for your review. Once you have reviewed the document, hit reply to send the requested information outline in the document. ***Vancouver IRCC VCR5133*** "
Am I suppose to reply with the answer to the highlighted yellow section in the pdf?
Hello So I just got the "IRCC Permanent Residence Confirmation Portal VCR5133 AP#XXXXX" email.
I am a little confused what I am suppose to do here? Am I just replying to this email and attaching the photo and mailing address?
Or is there a website I need to go to?
Some info, applicant is just my wife alone. Inland app received July 17, 2020. ECAS shows Decision Made, GCKey shows Submitted.
Any help would be awesome.
Also this basically means the app is approved? Just processing time for PR now right?

THANKS! That answers my question. Just sent the answers, hopefully can get a reply soon. This is basically the final process of her application. Not sure why you got the email and not her but anyways she has to reply to that email address answering the questions on the PDF, such as, original entry, last entry to Canada, etc. Once that is done, they will send another email - within the next couple of hours or days - with a temporary password to create an online PR portal. It is on this portal account that she gets to upload her photo.
You need a photo that goes on PR card. Follow the guidelines for it if doing yourself. Otherwise go to any Shoppers and get it done from them. It's important you follow the guidelines for picture otherwise it may get rejected and your process becomes longer.Wow the reply was so fast, took them 12 minutes to give me the portal login email.
Question for the photo needed, It say we can take a photo with phone or photo from computer, does it mean we can take a photo ourselves? or do they mean take a photo of a official photo from a photographer?
eCoPR means she's a permanent resident. She can apply for a SIN number as well now if looking to work. She cannot travel on eCoPR, she needs a PR card to do so. I would advise to upload picture immediately since PR card is taking some time. I got my eCoPR on 8th June and still haven't heard a thing for my PR card and I wish to travel. Even my parents need my PR card as proof I am permanent resident at the border to come visit me. :/Well The photo got rejected, but they also posted the eCoPR at the same time.
I guess the picture is just for the actual PR card and doesn't affect the eCoPR? Will go to a shop to take it and repost I guess.
What does it mean by having the eCoPR? Can she leave the country and come back, let say for a month or 2?
Anything we should do with the eCoPR?
