They do not send email.

They send it back to same address that you included in the application

One thing I am curious about- I found one case that application opened and returned on dec 1 for the oct2nd applicant for some reasons..

Being early July applicants-our applications are still untouched??
Or there are two different process and group of persons—
One to open application and check completeness
Second to enter in system and send it to corresponding local visa office!!!

Just a wild guess.. ircc is unpredictable as always

It would be nice if someone knew what is the actual process. For example, I have 5 applications split between July and August and none of them received AORs. I understand if one or two didn't but all of them is odd. I think IRCC sends some app for higher ups if they need to verify something before accepting/returning them so the people in the other team might be busy since their numbers are lower. This is just a guess since I cannot make any sense of the application process.

As per trend, Returns are done ahead of time before AORs issuing. Like there were returns in September for July and December for October. I think Early July applicants will see their AORs soon.

Hopefully, I am concerned because we are moving in Mid January and there is no way to know if the application is returned since the CanadPost forwarding services is not an option for immigration documents as I was advised in a previous post.

@Badi I understand frustration. Be strong though. Before submitting online, i suggest to double check if u will be able to use same payment receipt. Good luck to u and hope july people get it soon

I have 2 friends who applied August and September - both did not get AOR

Hi. Same boat here. My application delivered July 15th. No AOR.

Is the citizenship application online now?
If this is the case, I will wait until end of January and if no AOR, I will considered submitting a new application.

Hi @Om1280 U are not alone. They processed half of July. Try to be patient. By sending one more application you might confuse the system

Application received by CIC on July 13, yet haven’t received AOR.
kinda getting stressed as I moved to another address and read that someone previously mentioned Here that Canada post doesn’t forward immigration documents to a new address in case it gets returned. Has anyone had such experience?
