I don't know where you access the old portal, I think it doesn't exist. Care to share a link?

Does ANYONE have experience with having the ceremony at a specific place? In Calgary, they do a ceremony during GlobalFest (a worldwide firework show), but I am unsure how arrangements are made for this. It happens in August, so feels like it can be arranged.

Very strange thing happening . Hope someone here might be able to shed some light .
Our application:
2 candidates 1 completed the test on 25th october (test updated to complete in system October 26th ) other one on Nov 1st (test updated to complete in system Nov 2nd )...
both our applications Language, Physical & Prohibitions : completed on 4th November: DM in old system on 4th November.
New portal says Updated:February 11, 2022 but no changes on any section.
Old system DM updated to in progress.
so very confused and worried at the moment.

I check approximately 20 times my tracker every day. It would be interesting to know if someone is beating me on it.

I check once every 6 months it seems, so maybe we balance each other out!

In the new portal, it says that Language, Physical Presence, and Prohibitions completed December 7th.
Just waiting for Oath Ceremony "in progress".

Has anyone got oath ceremony information through e-mail? Or is it all thru postal mail? I never got my AOR which was mailed to my address, so I'm hoping that doesn't happen with my ceremony date/time lol.

THey will send it through email since the pandemic, if your email is on file.
Did you receive your test invite at least through email?
Call them tomorrow to update you email address to make sure its on file as you seem to have problem receiving emails from them.

Since you received your AOR by mail, it means an email is not associated with your file, and probably will receive the oath notice to appear by mail as well. You can provide your email to them and ask all the correspondence with IRCC to go to your email. It's more convenient and quicker by email

Also, I have not had an interview after my test, did anyone get one or is it part of the oath?

Another update on the file today morning. The citizenship ceremony is set to "In Progress". I have been scheduled for the oath on March 9th, 2022. Yet to receive the email and not sure if it is going to be in-person or online.


This is my timeline:
Hamilton office.
July 2020 applicant: AOR - Nov 2020 | Background(Completed) - Jan 20th 2021 | Test Invite(and pp copy) - Oct 15th 2021 | Test taken - Oct 30th 2021 | Test completed - Nov 2nd 2021 | DM(Language, Physical & Prohibitions - Completed) - Dec 17th 2021.

Previously Updated - Jan 24th, 2022 (but no visible changes on the file)

your next update will be Citizenship oath “in progress” on new tracker with a ceremony date, and close to your citizenship ceremony you will receive an email invite.
There is no email acknowledgment for decision made.
Not everyone gets Interview, fingerprints or submitting their passport copies request.

Is it normal that I don't see much progress in Ecas? Test was done in Nov 2021 but the last update in ECAS shows FP request which was in July. I don't see DM anywhere on the applications. Did anyone receive the oath ceremony without seeing DM on their ECAS?

Hi. Yew it is normal that you do not see a lot of updates on ecas. You need to get DM (same as everything completed in new tracker) before oath

My file is at Vancouver office n my oath ceremony went in progress back in early January but it never got updated on tracker and 2 days back got scheduled for oath mid March. So hang tight! Ircc is not updating the tracker in real time. All of a sudden you see couple backdated updates.

Sigh, officially 7 months today since DM and nothing yet. Mississauga office. It's really disrupting my travel plans because I want to travel, but then I'm worried that when the date is close or after I've traveled, I'll get the invite for oath
